General
Our standard
carrier for shipping is USPS. In some special
circumstances we will use UPS domestically for
expedite and large orders. Every order we ship has
some form of tracking number associated with it.
USPS has a number of economical ways that allow us
to track and insure our customer's orders without
incurring high shipping costs which saves our
customers money. USPS services include media mail,
parcel post, first class, priority and express.
Depending on the actual product that is ordered,
the dimension of the packaging and the weight a
determination is made for exactly what delivery
service the order qualifies. Once that is
determined, we factor in the level of service you
select in the shopping cart. By applying this
ala-carte methodology we are often able to have
orders delivered within 5 days, with delivery
confirmation and insurance for less than $6.00.
Processing
In-stock
items will be processed and shipped within 1-2
business days. Orders will not be processed or
shipped on weekends or holidays. Overnight and 2nd
Day orders placed before 12:30 PM EST will usually
ship the same day. In the case of expedited orders
that cannot be fulfilled immediately, Language
Resource Online will contact you and give you the
option of changing your shipping option or
canceling your order.
We
do not process shipping orders between Friday 5:00
PM EST and Monday 8:00 AM EST. We ship anywhere in
the world unless there is a governmental
restriction or lack of delivery service available
for a given location. Shipping charges will apply
for refused deliveries. All credit card orders are
verified by an Address Verification System (AVS).
Orders without a valid phone number or e-mail
address will not be processed, and we reserve the
right to hold or refuse any order we cannot verify
by telephone or e-mail.
How to Calculate
Shipping Charges
Standard US Ground Shipping is $5.95. Our system
calculates shipping cost by weight and by service
level. Each item in our inventory has an assigned
shipping weight and this value is used by the
system when calculating the shipping charge for
multiple items.
To calculate your shipping charge for expedited
domestic and international deliveries add selected
items to shopping cart and proceed to check-out.
After entering the shipping address and selecting a
shipping method, your shipping charge will be added
to the order total. If you wish to change your
shipping options after reviewing the charges simply
back up one step in the purchase process. Your
credit card is not charged and your order is not
processed until you approve the total purchase cost
including shipping charges.
